Newly engaged? If you recently said âyesâ to your forever and youâre now searching for the perfect place to say âI doâ, this blog is for you! Weâre giving you the inside scoop on downtown Raleighâs best wedding venues!
The Stockroom at 230: Picture yourself getting married in front of the wall of windows. Its intricate latticework, hardwood floors, and exposed brick are all original to the space. The landing area is perfect for cocktail hour while the ceremony space gets âflippedâ by your catering team for the reception. The Stockroom has inclusive packages with Empire Eats Catering, who are pros in the space, and your guests will leave raving about the food! This venue is ideal for guest sizes between 75-120. Plus, they have not one, but two private dressing suites, and theyâre on separate floors so you donât have to worry about running into your future Mr. or Mrs.! 230 Fayetteville St., 2nd floor
Haywood Hall: A historic home in the heart of downtown Raleigh built and designed in Federal-style architecture. Ceremonies usually take place on the front lawn, then cocktail hour continues in the garden before the reception begins on the patio, typically under the stars and a stunningly clear top tent! If youâre looking for a completely outdoor oasis, Haywood Hall is great for various guest sizes. The inside of the home is notable for photos and they have a dressing suite for prep too! 211 New Bern Place
Jiddi Space & Courtyard: Downtown Raleighâs hidden gem. Nestled behind the restaurants Sitti and Gravy (who are the exclusive caterers of the space) you may have never seen this secret space! The enclosed courtyard is a charming place for ceremonies, cocktail hour and dancing the night away underneath the market lights for groups of 60-120 people. Dinner is customarily held inside the Jiddi Space with its exposed brick walls and original barn slider door that was used for horses and carriages in the late 1800s to early 1900s. There is also a large wedding suite with a terrace that overlooks the courtyard thatâs great for photos and first looks! 137 S. Wilmington St.
Market Hall: The iconic cobblestone streets set the scene before walking into this historic, but modern venue. There are different options for your ceremony and reception locations so you can customize your day to what is best for you! The space can accommodate up to 400 people to meet your large guest list needs. Market Hallâs in-house catering will take care of all of your food and beverage needs. This venue also has two separate dressing suites, so each bridal party has their own space to get ready and relax! 214 E. Market St.
All Saints Chapel: Built in 1875, this chapel has stood the test of time, and itâs also moved locations not once, but twice (photos below if you donât believe it)! The original pine hardwood floors and cathedral-like ceilings have provided a stunning nuptial backdrop for couples for almost 150 years. The chapel is stunning for ceremonies and it has a lovely lower level for cocktail hour while the chapel is âflippedâ for reception. Empire Eats Catering partners with this venue, too, and has inclusive packages to make planning and logistics easy on you! There are two dressing suites, one upstairs and one downstairs, to fit your getting-ready needs. If you're hosting 60-120 guests, All Saints Chapel is a venue you should definitely consider. 110 S.
