March events you can’t miss!
March is full of events in and around downtown Raleigh that you don’t want to miss, so mark your calendars. Maybe it’s the luck of the Irish that so many amazing events are being hosted this month, but whatever it is, here’s our top five we can’t wait for!
First Friday – Kick off your weekend at First Friday Market & Movie Night in Moore Square on Friday, March 3! Shop from local vendors, listen to live music and grab a shake from Square Burger before Movie Night begins! Showtime is 6:30 p.m., and this month they’re showing “The Princess Bride.” 200 S Blount St.
March Madness Vintage Market – Now this one is our type of March Madness, a vintage shopping spree that has nothing to do with sports! Head over to Transfer Co. Food Hall on Sunday, March 5, and visit more than 25 vintage clothing vendors, see live art and enjoy playing games. 500 East Davie Street
St. Patrick’s Day Parade – It wouldn’t be March if you didn’t celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! The annual parade starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 11. Get to Fayetteville Street early to snag a great watching spot! N Wilmington St., Fayetteville St. and S Salisbury St.
Women’s History Trolley Tour – March is Women’s History Month, and this trolley tour is on the top of our list! Hop on the Great Raleigh Trolley on Sunday, March 12, and learn all about the wonderful women who helped shape the City of Oaks! 1 Mimosa St.
Art in Bloom – If you haven’t been before, then make this your year to go! The North Carolina Museum of Art always displays the most beautiful blooms and floral arrangements that you need to see at this annual exhibit from March 15-19.
